Product Description:

The Stron Smart Data Concentrator Unit STC18-A is specifically designed for Smart Metering applications. It functions as a gateway that connects metering devices with Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems.

The STC18-A enables two-way communication between the metering points and the AMR/AMI systems. It performs a variety of tasks including setting configurations, collecting data, transmitting and storing data, managing meters, executing GPRS-related tasks, and overseeing RF network management.

Additionally, the STC18 leverages LORA-RF technology effectively for downlink communication to smart meters. For uplink communication, it utilizes GPRS, ensuring reliable data transmission between smart meters and the central system.

Product Overview: Data Concentrate Unit

The Data Concentrate Unit is available in two sizes: 2G and 4G. It operates within a voltage range of AC 160V to 300V, ensuring compatibility with various power supplies. The device supports frequencies between 45Hz and 65Hz, making it suitable for different electrical environments.

This unit is designed to function reliably in a wide range of temperatures, from -25℃ up to 70℃. It requires a humidity level of up to 95%, providing flexibility for various installation conditions. The communication capabilities include GPRS and LORA-RF modules, allowing efficient data transmission over long distances.

Equipped with an RS485 port, the unit supports a baud rate of 115200bps. It can connect with up to 300 meters simultaneously, making it ideal for large-scale applications.
